Before you start
You only need two things: an AutoBlog account and administrator access to your site. On WordPress, that means being able to log into the admin panel; on Wix, being the owner of the site's account. There's nothing to install on your site — the connection uses each platform's native features, so there's no plugin to keep updated and nothing that can slow your site down.
It's worth understanding what the connection unlocks: once connected, AutoBlog publishes, schedules and manages posts directly on your site — including images and SEO meta. Connect WordPress
The WordPress integration uses an Application Password, a security feature of WordPress itself that creates a dedicated credential for AutoBlog — without exposing your main password.
Step 1 — Generate the Application Password
In your WordPress admin, go to Users → Profile → Application Passwords. Name the credential (e.g. "AutoBlog"), click generate and copy the password shown — it appears only once.
Step 2 — Connect in the AutoBlog dashboard

- In the dashboard, go to My Blogs → Connect;
- Paste your site URL (e.g. https://yoursite.com) and the admin username;
- Paste the Application Password and click connect — validation is instant.
Why this method is safe
The Application Password is a credential separate from your login password: you can revoke it at any time from WordPress itself, without affecting your own access. On AutoBlog's side, each site's credentials are encrypted individually — learn more in data security and LGPD.
Connect Wix
On Wix, the connection is even simpler: everything happens via OAuth, the same "sign in with Google" pattern you already know. You don't generate or paste any password.
- In the AutoBlog dashboard, go to My Blogs → Connect → Wix;
- You'll be redirected to authorize AutoBlog on your Wix account;
- Confirm the permissions and that's it — the site is connected.

Fixing connection problems
If validation fails on WordPress, the cause is almost always one of these:
- Firewall or security plugin blocking the WordPress REST API — allow API access or add AutoBlog to the allowlist;
- Wrong URL — check that you pasted the site's exact address, with https;
- Application Password copied wrong — generate a new one and paste again (the old one can be revoked).
Since validation is instant, so is the diagnosis: adjust the suspect item, try connecting again and you'll know right away whether it's fixed. On Wix, thanks to OAuth, connection failures are rare — if one happens, redoing the authorization usually solves it.
What happens after connecting?
