Nice car for “Nazis with style” lol
i worked for a guy that had a messer. it was much smaller than these,i think that it was a very early one,he let me drive it one day-i got stranded in a apt. parking lot-after me and my gf got it runnin we drove it back to the shop”WE WERE LAUGHED AT BY ALL THE RESIDENTS AT THE APT COMPLEX’-later on we found out that it was insured for over 25gs,that put a smile on my face,glad that i learned more,THANX BILL!
i remember these in germany when i was growning up in the 60’s. always wanted one. but alas i have my 1968 mustang conv.
My first ever car was a three wheeled Messerschmitt back in the 1960s which you could buy then for around £200. I eventually drive a Tiger too! I wish I had kept it!

I would love to have a real TG500 Messerschmitt…but they are damned pricey for a microcar.
I could have a genuine Mini Cooper S for like half the price.
But the Messers were overbuilt cars, very well-engineered for the time, and rumored to have all been sold at a loss because of the quality.
But heck for a $41K USD Messer, I could have a restored Honda S600/S800…and I would have four cylinders too. lol

I know where there is one. No, not telling sorry. I do think that they should be brought back due to extortionate petrol cost/ tax in the uk. At present it is 1.21GBP whats that in US Dollars? Our govt sucks.
There was on in a back yard in Toledo Ohio. I saw it first in 85′. But it since disapeared.
These are a BLAST to drive!! Like driving a go kart. They have direct steering. LOADS of fun!! Mine is tucked away for it’s winter nap.
